Evidence-Based Practice Program

Mission: We strive to promote a culture of inquiry, that is supportive and responsive to staff needs, effectively disseminates results, and improves the quality of patient care across the organization.

Vision: The Evidence-Based Practice Program at the University of New Mexico Hospital will build a foundation for nursing research by providing education, mentorship, and leadership support the translation of research evidence into bedside practice.

At 猎奇重口Hospital, we are committed to delivering evidence-based care to our patients. To achieve this goal, we utilize the 7 steps to Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) framework developed by Melnyk et al. (2010). This framework involves a structured approach to gather and critically evaluate the best available evidence, integrate it with clinical expertise and patient preferences, and apply it to improve patient outcomes. By implementing the 7 steps to EBP, we ensure that our clinical decisions are based on the most up-to-date and reliable evidence, leading to safer and more effective care for our patients.
